Now I can finally say I’ve been to Disneyland! Disneyland Grad Nite was awesome! We left on the 18th and got back on the 19th. From 9:45 pm to 12:00 am we were in California Adventure, and then at 12:00 am they let us into Disneyland, where we stayed until about 5:30 in the morning. I wish I could have gone on more rides, but the lines were pretty long for the popular ones, considering there were probably over 100 high schools there. I didn’t get a picture with Mickey, unfortunately; there was a line at his booth. Those of you who didn’t go, you really should have! You missed out!

Highlights:
- It took about 8 hours to drive there, and another 8 hours to drive back.
- Our bus driver wore a turban.
- At a reststop, Stephen and I found $40 on the ground! We split it.
- I’m pretty sure I’ve been to one of the reststops we stopped at before! Phuc and I stopped there before when we went to Long Beach.
- We went on California Screamin’, Mulholland Madness, Soarin’ Over California, Star Tours, Rock It Mountain (Space Mountain), Haunted Mansion, and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters.
- The seniors at the park that night were the first people that got to ride Rock It Mountain, a nighttime transformation of Space Mountain in which the calmer daytime soundtrack is replaced by a driving rock soundtrack, along with different special effects! This was exclusive for Grad Nite 2006, and will not debut to the general public until a lot later in the future.
- The Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters rides broke down while we were on them.
- Apparently after our busses dropped us off, they went to take soldiers to the airport to be flown to Iraq. They literally left shit in our bus (in the bathroom of course), and made it smell like poo poo and pee pee.
- I officially pulled off my first all-nighter.
- Apparently my crappy phone started roaming somewhere around the LA area.
- When I got home, I planned to take a 2 hour nap, but ended up sleeping for 14 hours.
