Someone contacted me through Flickr and asked if they could use some of my photos from my trip to the Farallon Islands for a news article! It’s an article for NowPublic.com, which is a user contributed news site that uses stories and footage from non news sources. Sites like these are gaining popularity fast, and I think they have a lot of potential to be the next mass media.

One reason I don’t like zoos is because the animals are deprived of their natural way of life and put in captivity on display. Although, zoos are nice because sometimes they nurse injured animals back to health and give them a chance to live when they probably can’t survive in the wild anymore.
This photo, along with We Were Soldiers, will be on display this year at the Alameda County Fair. If you’ll be at the fair, please stop and check them out if you have time, along with some of the other great art pieces.

Well, it’s over. My four years of high school are finished. It’s kind of hard to believe that it’s over, and that I won’t see a lot of people ever again. Next year I’m starting off at a junior college to save money and to figure out what I want to do. Then I’ll transfer somewhere. These past four years have left me with a lot of good memories. Hopefully they will only get better.
Grad Night was pretty fun, except when my camera broke. It’s okay though, I got a nice $410 in graduation money to buy a new one.
