My Black Friday this year wasn’t really as exciting as it was for me last year, unfortunately. My friend couldn’t go with me since he was with family, so I was out on my own this year. I woke up early and decided to hit Best Buy first, hoping to snag a Samsung 19″ widescreen LCD monitor for $130 (for future use with PS3). I got to the store at 4:00 am, an hour before it opened at 5:00 am, but there was already a line that went around the building! It was freezing, and I didn’t think I had much of a chance of getting that monitor, so I left. Next I went over to Office Max, and it was completely opposite over there. I got there about half an hour before the store opened and there was just one person in line. I bought myself a nice new leather executive high-back office chair for $50.
After that, I went home to sleep for a few hours. I went to Radio Shack at 9:00 am hoping to pick up a Motorola bluetooth headset for $10, but it wasn’t much of a surprise that they were sold out, since I had gotten to the store 3 hours after it opened. Then I went over to Mervyns and bought a dress shirt and tie. Later in the day, I went back to Office Max and picked up some photo paper for 60% off (even though the paper I bought wasn’t supposed to be on sale, the cashier was nice). The day before I also ordered a nice jacket from Aeropostale.com for 50% off.
Black Friday is awesome, can’t wait for next year!
